Hi everyone,
Just wanted to let you know how much we appreciate all your thoughts that have come to us as emails or comments. We have been too busy to answer them individually, but rest assured we read and appreciate every one of them. Thinking of all the support we have from our friends and family--and may we say, our co-workers feel more like family to us--has been very comforting to us.
Hopefully we will both be discharged tomorrow!

ReplyDeleteI glad things went well. Rob, why did you think you wouldn't have a lot of pain? I had a nephropexy many years ago and I still remember the pain. It-will-get-better.
Missing the snow was not a big deal. Lots of people lost power and water. There was so much snow, my direc-tv dish was totally covered and we lost tv service. Not that there's much on television.

I also have kidney disease and am near transplant status and reading your experience has helped my husband understand what he may go through. You are in my prayers and can't wait to have you back in the writers club, happy, healthy and with a new manuscript about what you guys have gone through to get to this point. I'd buy it!
